As we all know, there is currently a dispute regarding the election for President of this organization, which took place in December 2023. The two parties involved, Soua Lee and Mai Bee Vue.
Mai Bee Vue Lor (Mrs. Chue Feng Lor). Currently holds the position of President at Hmong Southeast Puavpheej (HSP). In 1994, Mai Bee earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Reading and English as a Second Language (with an ESL minor) from Eastern Washington University, followed by the completion of a Master’s Degree in Education from Washington State University in 1999.
It has been nearly two weeks since the Hmong NC New Year, and many members of our local community have actively participated in our HSP 2023 Community Survey. In fact, we received responses from 111 participants! Today, we are delighted to announce the winner of our survey drawing.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved member and cherished friend, Mo Yang. We are deeply saddened by this loss, as she was an exceptional individual who made an indelible mark on our organization and the lives of those we serve. Mo was a true beacon of inspiration and dedication.
